The Brief

Greenhill Estate is something special. The original properties, Hillside and GreenHill Manor, were built in 1935 by BHP to house visiting VIP’s, executives and, on occasions, even royalty.

Totally restored now, Greenhill Estate contacted us looking for a solution to solve an area of the garden used for an overflow car park for guests visiting
the residents. Keeping a natural look to complement the magnificent landscaped gardens.

The Solution

GR14 Grass Reinforcement Mesh was supplied by All Stake Supply to facilitate an additional 20 car park spaces maintaining the natural grassy outlook. GR14 was installed and pinned in the designated overflow area. GR14 will allow the grass to grow through and intertwine into the mesh protecting the root system, allowing the grass to handle regular traffic in all weather conditions.

Conclusion

The new car park solution is more cost-effective than concrete. It also maintains the desired natural look and tradition of the Gardens.

Greenhills are very pleased with the look and in a matter of weeks, the car park will be ready to use.
